PPCT Use of Force Instructor (3/30/2026 - 4/3/2026)

Welcome to the PPCT Use of Force Instructor course hosted by NTS March 30 through April 3, 2026. The course will be held on the skyway level of the Deluxe Plaza building in downtown Minneapolis (801 S. Marquette Ave., Suite 200, Minneapolis, MN 55402). 

The course will begin at 9am and end at 5pm each day. The training topics within the core course curriculum include the following: Introduction to PPCT and Tactical Human Factors, Use of Force Survival Principles, Performance Variables, Cognitive Abilities, Energy Systems, Components of Acceptability, Control Continuum, Survival Reaction Time, Tactical Handcuffing, Use of Force Design Methodology, Escorts and Joint Lock Control, Survival Stress, Pressure Point Control Tactics, Threat Pattern Recognition Science, Defensive Counterstrikes, Vision Science, Time Science, Scene Indicators, Shoulder Pin Restraint System, Scene Indicators, SCOTUS cases, Impact Weapons, Macro Threat Cues, Micro Threat Cues, Weapon Retention/Disarming, Teaching Methodology, Instructor Protocols, and Law and Policy.
